"The Hills" (2006) had the highest-rated telecast this year for MTV. It was recently awarded for "Choice TV Reality/ Variety Show" at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards show. The show will begin its fourth season in August 2008. Patridge recently completed production on her first film role, MGM Home Entertainment's Into the Blue 2: The Reef (2009) (V). In the film, Patridge stars opposite Chris Carmack and Laura Vandervoort as "Kelsey", a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every command. Born the eldest of four children in Downey, California, Audrina has always aspired to become an actress in Hollywood and, as soon as she turned 18, she signed with a small management company in LA. She honed her craft by participating in drama classes and private acting lessons, taking a job at Quixote Studios as she waited for her big break. Living a stone's throw away from the MTV production of "The Hills" (2006), Audrina was spotted sunbathing by the pool and was asked by a producer if she would like to join the cast. She happily accepted her role as the dear friend of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag in what was sure to be the beginning of her enticing career. Patridge has been a class act since she was a small child. Her grace and charismatic demeanor fuel her ability to light up the camera. Her mother, Gerda Theron, is German, while her late father, Charles, was French (she was named after him).<br /><br />Charlize began her modeling career in 1991 aged 16 when she won a local modeling contest. She started modeling in Europe and came to New York a year later. She didn't like being a model though, and decided to try her luck with ballet, which had been her biggest passion as a child. Unfortunately, a knee injury prevented her from dancing. Her mother bought her a one-way ticket to Los Angeles in 1994 and Charlize started visiting all of the agents on Hollywood Boulevard but without any luck. She went to the bank to cash a check for $500 she'd got from her mother and became furious when she learned that the bank could not cash her check because it was an out-state check. She made a scene and an agent gave her his card, in exchange that she learn the language, which she did by watching soap operas on TV. Her first role was as a young mother in a park in a B-film in 1995, but it was a non-speaking role with three seconds of screen time. Her next role was as "Helga" in 2 Days in the Valley (1996), which landed her the role of "Tina" in That Thing You Do! (1996). Since then, she has starred in movies like The Devil's Advocate (1997); Mighty Joe Young (1998); The Cider House Rules (1999); The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000) and The Italian Job (2003). She terminated her contract with management company BMA and label BMA Records in January 2011 and currently has an artist contract with TVB. She was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is the younger sister of the Hong Kong model Kathy Chow Man Kei.<br />Niki's school life ended when she was spotted by an agent who offered her a modeling opportunity. This was the beginning of her life as an artist. She was just about 17 years old at that time.<br />Several years later, she began her acting career in movies and television series, working mostly with TVB. Cast by Amy Wong, her first TVB series was Hard Fate (翡翠戀曲). She is well known for her role and performance in Producer Lau Ka Ho's 2005 series The Gentle Crackdown (秀才遇著兵), which stars Moses Chan and her. She won the Most Improved Actress award at the TVB Anniversary Awards (2005) for her performance in The Gentle Crackdown. Amy Wong's Under the Canopy of Love (天幕下的戀人), starring Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong and her, in the February of the following year also helped establish her popularity. An indirect sequel with the same cast and crew, The Seventh Day (最美麗的第七天), came out February 2008. Her on-screen partnership with Kevin Cheng was well received by the audience in the years 2004-2008, along with rumours of the two dating in real life (until 2008). Niki's most recent series The King of Snooker (桌球天王) of 2009, with Adam Cheng and Patrick Tang, did not do well, resulting in low ratings and negative reviews.<br />Niki signed with BMA Records in 2005 and released her debut EP Pure Niki in the August of that year. In 2006, she released Child-Woman and a single Nikikaka. In January 2009, she released Redefine. In August 2010, she released a charity single Make a Wish with proceeds donated to an organization called Make-A-Wish Hong Kong. As well, in November 2010, she released her last EP under BMA Records: F.L.Y. (which stands for Freedom, Love, and Youth).<br />She filmed Sakura Memories (櫻紅醉了) – a TVB travel documentary programme about Japan – in the spring of 2009 and it aired on TVB in August 2009.<br />She is also the author of several books, including Girlfriend Diary《周麗淇·女朋友手記》(2005), a book of the same title as her 2006 album The Child Woman 《The Child Woman》(2006), Detailed Little Things 《細味心事》(2007), Happiness 《幸福》(2009), and Cherish 《珍惜》(2010). Her books are published under BMA Publications.<br />Up untiI January 2011, Niki has been managed by BMA and released her music under BMA Records. She terminated her contract with the company in January 2011.<br />Niki currently has a two-year artist contract with TVB, which begins February 1, 2011.
